PRE-TAN
EXFOLIATE
-
Exfoliate the whole body thoroughly the day
prior to your appointment
(Don't forget hands, feet, knees & elbows)
HAIR REMOVAL
-
Hair removal should be done after exfoliation to minimise irritation.
-
Shaving should be done 8hours before tan or a day or 2 after using a new
sharp razor.
-
Waxing to be done 1-2 days before tan to minimise irritation.
POST TAN
Tan develops in 8 hours but will continue to
develop over a 24 hour period prior to washing.
SHOWERING
-
Wait a minimum of 6-8 hours before showering
-
Wash with SLS free bodywash (Sodium Laureth/Lauryl Sulphate)
MOISTURISE
-
Morning and night to prolong the length of the tan
-
NB Tan on the hands and face will fade quicker due to regular cleansing,
however application of Tan in a bottle can be used to 'top' up the tan
in these areas
EXFOLIATION
-
Exfoliate only towards the end of the life of the tan, once tan has
completely faded or just prior to being retanned.
-
To remove any remnants of tan, you can use a baking soda and water (or lemon
juice) paste and apply this to the skin.
-
Take a long soaking bath 20-30 mins, the longer the better, exfoliating
lightly. Dry briskly with a towel, rubbing any stubborn areas as required.
